Today, 8/31/25, Nate Hight replaced my capacitor and it resolved my problem in minutes. He was such a kind and knowledgeable professional. Answered all my questions and even gave me tips to give my son who might be considering this profession. Always have an amazing experience with this company. Definitely use them if you have home HVAC needs. Thanks Assured Comfort Heating, Air, and Plumbing. Few years ago, so long story, my A/C was blowing heat. I had Assured come out and the tech, Scott Thomas, explained that the issues with my unit were it needing a capacitor replacement, the condenser fan had issues, coil cleaning needed, and refrigerant. He explained that my unit was at the end of life and there was no guarantee that repairing it would not mean I would have to replace it soon. So given I didn't know if it really needed replacement but the life of the unit was likely coming or was at the end I was leaning towards replacement. Nathan came out to discuss pricing of a new unit and we ordered a part to continue with the plan of repair. I then decided it was best for me to look at other companies and get a second or third opinion. I contacted another company and was told that the unit wasn't that old and he wanted to come out. A couple days later, he came out and evaluated the unit; he seemed to think it could be repaired. He said he cleaned the coil, replaced the capacitor, added refrigerant. By the end of the day it was back to blowing heat. Disappointed, I emailed Nathan right away and explained I was going to need a new system. lol. Nathan called the next day explaining what my options were. Every person I spoke to was very professional, kind, understanding. At that time I so appreciated it. They explained everything and when the install was done on the day. The tech Jonathan James and TJ, they were truly awesome. Jonathan who seemed to be the lead was extremely knowledgeable, understanding, kind, and there was no better service than what they both provided really. I was more than pleased. The unit is pumping and doing awesome today on day 2. I'm so glad I made the decision to purchase a new A/C / furnace from Assured Heating and Comfort, my experience with all involved from the first tech, Scott Thomas, who was thorough and very knowledgeable, gave me my options and advised on the best approach, to Nathan that guided me on price points, functions, and my options based on my need. The two ladies on the phone that corresponded with me, forgive me for forgetting names ladies. To Jonathan and TJ, who got me up and running 150% better than before. Thank you Assured, I am a very loyal customer once I see the commitment made to me as the customer. You guys just made a customer for life. Thank you so so much.
