Kyle was absolutely wonderful.
We have a leak in our kitchen ceiling that we were worried might be originating from one of our HVAC units, so I called and spoke to Brittany yesterday afternoon. She was lovely—so helpful and kind, and she arranged for Kyle to come first thing this morning to check it out.
Kyle was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond to help us get to the bottom of the leak—truly. He determined the HVAC units were running properly, and after getting our permission, he cut a hole in our ceiling where the leak seemed worst. He made a video of what he found so we could see for ourselves: what used to be a normal water pipe appears to have found a new career as a mini attic sprinkler. Kyle contacted the Assured Comfort dispatcher for us and arranged for a plumber to come either today or tomorrow—and today is a Saturday, so this is impressive.
What impressed me most, however, was that in addition to being friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about his work, Kyle was willing to educate us, and has an admirable sense of curiosity. He didn’t mind me following him around while he worked and explaining what he was doing and how the system works. I refer to myself as “terminally curious,” and I was genuinely interested. Some technicians are less than thrilled to have an “apprentice” (as Kyle jokingly called me), but Kyle was more than willing to teach, and was as invested in finding the source of our leak as we were—cutting holes in the ceiling with a drywall knife isn’t part of his usual routine, but Kyle said he “loves to solve a mystery,” and was totally game to play detective!
This was our second experience with Assured Comfort—they installed two AC units for us in 2021, and we were really happy with their work on that job as well. I highly recommend this company—every person I’ve dealt with there, in the office or in person, has been lovely.
